JUSTINA ASHLEY (DALE OGDEN)
Justina Ashley is delighted to be a part of this production. A participant in the Theatre Bay Area 2016 ATLAS Actor program, she has studied acting at several Bay Area schools such as Studio A.C.T., Berkeley Rep School of Theater and CCSF. When she is not pursuing her acting career, she is studying martial arts & trying to keep up with her favorite comic books and television shows.
ALAN CAMERON (BILLY)
Actor/director, Alan Cameron, has been active in local theatre for more than 40 years, having worked with Actors Ensemble of Berkeley, Contra Costa Musical Theatre (Walnut Creek), and Town Hall Theatre (Lafayette), among others. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of B8 Theatre Company (Concord). For B8, he directed his own work, “Man of Letters,” in 2017 and appeared in their 2019 productions of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Titania) and “Strange Ladies.” During this past year, he has helped produce “Be Home With B8,” a series of readings of new plays via Zoom.
ROBERTA MORRIS (DETECTIVE ANDERSON)
ROBERTA MORRIS is overjoyed to work with Nate and this amazing cast on The Bat. Roberta's other favorite playreadings include Carol Lashof's The Melting Pot Remix, Lorraine Midanik's In the Form of a Question and Chas Belov's Earthquake Weather. On stage: Grandma Gellman in Caroline, or Change (Theatreworks); Lady Wishfort in The Way of the World (The Pear), and, in PCSF's Best of 2019, Mabel in Patricia Morin's Hit List and Carla in Diane Sampson's Don't Just Sit There. KATE BOLTON-SCHMUKLER (LIZZIE ALLEN)
Kate Bolton-Schmukler is happy to be back with AEB on the black and white screen. She was most recently found in Zoomland with AEB’s production of ‘Sweat’ as Tracey. Kate has a background in classical singing, and looks forward to future opportunities on stage or in film.
BETHLEE SWANSON (RICHARD FLEMING; REGINA BERESFORD)
Bethlee Swanson, a long time care giver, is returning to the "theater" after an over-long absence, having last wowed San Ramon High School audiences with her nuanced performance as the lead in "Whose Life Is It Anyway" way back in 1991. A writer, home cook, and avid consumer of fiction from all media, Beth is thrilled to be a part of Nate Presents inaugaral production. She dedicates this performance to Bonnie, Clyde and Kryptonite
IRINA DIANOVA (NARRATOR)
Irina has previously performed with various Bay Area companies including Coastal Rep, Ninjaz of Drama, Theater of Others, AE, and Theatre Lunatico. Favorite roles include Vera/Dr. Zavala (Distracted), Mrs. Dilber (A Christmas Carol), Miss Prism (The Importance of Being Earnest), Hermia (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Dromio of Syracuse (Comedy of Errors), and Katya (Inhale/Exhale). Favorite Halloween costumes include Medusa, Frodo, and a spider baby. Happy Halloween!
JEFF TRESCOTT (DR. WELLS)
Jeff first set foot on stage when he was 10. Since then, he as acted in over 100 productions and assisted in other ways on many more. He is hoping to get back on a real stage soon.
PAULETTE HERRING (CORNELIA VAN GORDER)
Paulette Herring is happy to be giving you a good scare on Halloween! she likes Kids , dogs and Theater so she can’t be all bad .
NICK LEONARD (GINORMA DESMOND)
Nick Leonard is a San Francisco based comic and actor performing all over the place. He co-founded SF's long running Qcomedy showcase and co-produced The Bilicious Show and The Bilarious Show for the National Queer Arts Festival. He occasionally performs in drag as Ginorma Desmond.
ROMAN GABRIEL (BROOKS)
Roman Gabriel is thrilled to virtually bring The Bat to life alongside this ghoulishly good cast. A longtime Bay Area resident and graduate of Academy of Art University, he has previously worked with Shelton Theatre in Below Sycamore, participated in the PCSF Playoffs, and put plays on at AAU under Clark Houston Lewis. He now operates out of New York City, seeking to forge a new path on the East Coast and hopes you enjoy these good and spooky times.
